How entirely unlike the health and safety regime ( health of snakes, safety of research workers) and scientific approach we observed at the Kenya Snakebite and Intervention Centre, Institute of Primate Research, during the recent seminar on management and welfare of snakes. And the young Kenyan ‘Snake Charmers’ looked quite a lot different too.
