My priority is reconnecting people with nature – we’re all occupied with life’s slings and arrows and need an occasional reminder to stop and enjoy what the natural world has to offer. I’m proud to say I work for Haith’s – the most conscientious bird food company in Britain and we’re an award winning exporter.
In whatever spare time I have, I support the efforts of Britain’s exporters by amplifying the support of the Department of International Trade (DIT) and I’m proud to be a Northern Powerhouse Export Champion and Board of Trade recipient. These are testing times for UK Plc and I’m more convinced than ever that collaboration is the key to anything sustainable (commercial or natural capital) – it’s therefore my pleasure to represent the North of England and be in a position to share my export story with companies looking to export their goods worldwide.
Yesterday, I gave a speech from this amazing building (below) from a glass floor – I’m pleased I didn’t wear a kilt!
The video (above) was recorded to promote a DIT conference.
Looks great. More later. Just making early morning tea for Margaret, then off to Wymondham by train for meeting. BW John
